Kabuya Mbuyamba Dady, born in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, started music at the age of 15 years old. He is now based in Cape Town since 2009.

He is a professional artist and plays various musical styles including African, Latino, Salsa Afro Pop, Amapiano, Soul, and many more.

Dady Kabuya plays different instruments such as percussion, drums, bass, guitar, and electric guitar. He performs in different bands and plays as a percussionist, bass player, drummer, and electric guitarist.

Artists he regularly collaborates with include Kirya Kuti, Roland, Mapumba Cilombo, Sabu Bhele Jiyana, Afro Fiesta Band and intentional artist Lokwa Kanza.
