Birthday Lunch

We were very fortunate to be invited to do all the music for this very auspicious event for a former head-of-state. Decor, event planning by the wonderful Petals and technical provided by Steve & Steve @ SMD Tech. Brilliant guys. The weather although a little cold did little to dampen the mood for this special occasion. Music for the day was a mixture of classical, opera (yes opera), jazz, Italian and greek.

It took a fair amount of planning to get this playlist correct for the period of 5 hours and no complaints during lunch. The man of the hour love it and that made my day. Music is powerful.  Often, then the best way to test just how powerful music is, is to switch it off during an event for contrast…

An event is nothing without music, especially music.
